True friends are with you at all costs. They are not cowardly or only friends during fair-weather. They do not allow others to have a say in their actions towards you. They do not take advantage of your sympathies. They apologize when wrong, and furthermore, do not make the same mistake again, and then get upset at you for not ‘trusting’ them immediately. They do not lie. They do not hide their heads in the sand when forced to face consequences because they are afraid to act like an adult. The most difficult part about dealing with toxic friends like this, is that they always seem to ‘think’ that people are wronging them simply because others are justifiably upset by their actions.
I’d like to think there are people that truly do make their own decisions and have backbones to make up for their mistakes properly, and that there are people who grasp what friendship really is.
Lara, Cat, Alex, Lauren, Natalie, April, Cassi, Callie, Matt, and Hill, thank you all for reminding me what real support is like. I swear I’d nearly forgotten.
I’d like to think I’m a very forgiving person, and I am. I’ll forgive people for nearly everything if they own up to their mistakes. But I really so do take issue with cowards.
People who critique the grammar of others, when they are neither their teacher nor tutor, and when they have not been asked to critique it, clearly need something better to do with their time. I recommend getting laid. Seriously, the social life will do your clear lack of priorities good.
Friends come and go but enemies accumulate.

We have to be careful about trying to enshrine our beliefs, however religiously valid you may believe them to be, in the Minnesota Constitution.

~ Rep. Steve Simon
Something that every allegedly morally righteous person should think about when condemning gay marriage. Marriage is a religious institution for some, but millions of people who are not religious are allowed to get married merely because it is ALSO a LEGAL institution. This means that it is NOT a religious institution for everyone, and if anyone is going to wave the Bible about in the U.S. and shout about how gays should not be allowed to marry, they should realize something: We are here for religious freedom, NOT to impose what WE think, as easily wrong human beings, is the RIGHT way to be by God’s will.
Ergo, if you are bashing gay marriage, you’re a moron. Think about how hypocritical you’re being, when you seem fine with others who aren’t religious getting married, and then slap yourself in the face for me please. ;)

Irony & the Indians!
The first and second Major League movies are SO accurate: The owner tries to sabotage the team in every single possible way that they can, by trading all our best players away, giving the players next to not training equipment, and making just about any possible move that would royally fuck over the team itself. *cackles* SO true to life, ironically!!!!
I wonder if the actual owner also roots against the Tribe, like Rachel Phelps. lol
People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing - that’s why we recommend it daily.
What’s the worst you could do? Kill him? *taps hospice unit sign pointedly*

Utter by my boss, in the hospice/terminally ill ward of the hospital, when I gaped and asked them if they were sure that they wanted me to do the invasive procedure. I nearly choked laughing. Such a way of inspiring confidence we have there!
